I think Murren is easier to get to/from (21 minutes Wengen->Lauterbrunnen and only 19 minutes Murren->Lauterbrunnen). I also think Murren is more authentic of a Swiss Village than the more glitzy Wengen. Wengen has lots more souvenir shops and restaurants and hotels. Wengen, Jungfrau Region I've stayed in both and prefer Wengen. I like the views better from Wengen (altho many, such as Enzian, prefer Murren) and it just seems like more of the quintessential Swiss experience to me there. It is somewhat easier to get in and out of Wengen than Murren.
