The appearance of the led is in line with several other recently updated Cree leds, with rougher phosfor layer that is applied differently. Let's test it. I bought two XHP50.2 leds from Kaidomain, of which the J4 3A bin is tested here, so a neutral 5000K tint.

This LED is a 3V nominal LED, so unlike the 6V/12V version, it can be run from a single lithium-ion cell using a normal (non zener mod) FET driver. All MCPCBs are copper direct-thermal-path. Please note that the XHP50.2 has an extremely low forward voltage. It may be damaged by use with an FET driver and high-drain 18650/26650 batteries!

There are several types on that page, I got "Package H" which contains three Chinese made XHP90.2 LEDs (Cree knockoffs) which are extremely bright - each XHP90.2 has four T6-like LEDs from what I can tell. I would estimate the lumens coming off this thing to be in the 5000-10000 range, it is easily 5x brighter then my 800 lumen flashlights.
